KCNSC'S Robin Stubenhofer Receives Distinguished Alumni Award

On December 2, 2021 Robin Stubenhofer received the University of New Mexico School of Engineering’s Distinguished Alumni Award. Robin is the Vice President of Engineering at the Kansas City National Security Campus managed by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies and has served in this capacity since 2014. In this position, Robin is responsible for a variety of advanced technologies, including manufacturing and engineering support for mechanical and electrical products, laboratory support, telemetry and test equipment.

This award recognizes graduates of the University of New Mexico School of Engineering who’ve had distinguished careers after graduation. Recipients are individuals whose outstanding careers and actions have represented the University and School of Engineering in a positive and exemplary manner while providing important contributions to their respective fields of expertise.

“I’m honored to receive this recognition from University of New Mexico. My time there helped set the foundation for my career, and I’m proud to represent that legacy of collaboration, teamwork and leadership collaboration here at Honeywell FM&T,” Robin said.

Robin was awarded the Kansas City Business Journal’s 2014 Women Who Mean Business Award and the Central Exchange’s Groundbreaker Award for her significant contributions to the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) community. Additionally, she was awarded the 2019 Outreach Partner by the University of Missouri Kansas City and has been selected to receive the 2020 Boy Scouts Heart of America Silver Beaver award for dedicated service to Boy Scouts.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Mexico and a master’s in business administration from Avila College. She is also a member of the Kansas City Tomorrow Alumni Association and is Six Sigma Black Belt certified.
