Kansas City National Security Wins 2026 Kansas City Business Journal Champion of Business Award

The Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC) is one of 16 Kansas City-area businesses that won a Champions of Business award from the Kansas City Business Journal. KCNSC was selected for this honor based on metrics such as consistent financial growth, community impact and innovation. Other factors included demonstrating a commitment to the mission, community relations efforts and the Kansas City Non-Nuclear Expansion Transformation (KC NExT). There was also significant community involvement, with KCNSC partnering with the Kansas City Zoo to create a 3D-printed harness for Tortellini, the sea turtle.

This is the third time KCNSC has been named a Champion of Business, which now qualifies KCNSC for the League of Champions.

Honeywell FM&T President & CEO Eric Wollerman accepted the award at the May 13 ceremony. In his acceptance speech, he highlighted KCNSC’s dedication to the national security mission and employees’ commitment of going above and beyond to achieve company’s goals.
