Talent Development team receives three ATD KC Excellence in Practice Awards

Congratulations to the Honeywell Talent Development team at the NNSA’s Kansas City National Security Campus for winning three Excellence in Practice Awards this spring. This is the third year in a row the team has been recognized by the Kansas City (ATD) Association of Talent Development chapter, but the first year to place in more than one category.

ATD recognizes individual contributors, consultants, contractors, and organizations in the Kansas City area who have illustrated industry competencies. The award criteria, based on ATD’s National standards, seek to highlight practices that have demonstrated results which can be measured, meet the identified need, and have long-lasting impact.

KCNSC Instructional Designer Anne Setter who won for Mock Factory Assessments was surprised and excited to win. “Being recognized by our peers is extraordinarily rewarding and hugely motivating!”

“It makes me feel amazing and valued to showcase our hard work and receive recognition for it,” stated Learning Business Partner Keisha Washington who won along with Technical Learning Specialist Logan Weil for the Fork Lift Augmented Reality Training. Logan added, “It is extremely fulfilling after nearly a year of hard work.”
