Honeywell Recognized as Outstanding Business Partner to Independence Schools

Honeywell recently accepted a recognition award from the Independence School District for being an outstanding business partner over the last 5 years. Academies of the Independence School District chose Honeywell for a combination of our commitment to continuing partnerships through mentoring, guest speaking opportunities, facility tours, serving on advisory boards as well as being a mainstay business partner.

Norman Kump, Manufacturing Manager, accepted the award on behalf of Honeywell. Norman expressed, "It's very satisfying when you're able to connect with students and help them make choices that can and often do affect the course of their lives"  . Other notable Honeywell colleagues who have invested in the Independence School District include Jason Bowers, Eric Waage, Grant Lewis, Brian Lasker and Nick Green.
