Honeywell receives 2020 Pinnacle Award in Technology

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City presented Honeywell with their 2020 Pinnacle in Technology Award. The award, which is the highest recognition presented by the clubs, recognizes entities who offer outstanding support, partnership, and engagement toward the work and impact of the Clubs and through their focus on building skill sets in young people.

Honeywell is responsible for establishing The Boys & Girls Club of KC's first MakerSpace with plans to install two more. Honeywell has also provided numerous scholarship opportunities and outlets for their members to engage in STEM related activities. Honeywell served as the lead sponsor of their Atomic Blast summer program which ensured thousands of youth had access to ongoing learning opportunities throughout the summer, with particular emphasis on STEM learning and career readiness exposures for teens.
