Employees donate hundreds of coats to keep children warm

Honeywell partnered with KMBZ Radio for the 11th year to support the annual Coats for Kids Donation Drive. Donations bins were placed at all four office locations to collect new or gently used coats, hats, gloves and scarves. Our employees collected 200 coats for students living in poverty and Honeywell contributed a $10,000 matching grant.

“Over 13,000 students of the 19,000 students in our district live in poverty, so when the community comes together to provide for these students, it really makes an impact on their lives,” said Cynthia Lane, Superintendent of the Kansas City, Kansas School District.
