Brett Conner Named an America Makes 2020 Ambassador

Brett Conner, Technical Manager at the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC), was named an America Makes Ambassador as part of the 2020 Class of Ambassadors announced at the America Makes Annual Members Meeting. The award represents recognition and appreciation to those who continually champion and demonstrate outstanding dedication to America Makes and its mission. America Makes is the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute with over 200 member organizations dedicated to advancing the adoption of additive manufacturing.

Brett joins a unique class of individuals, as well as prior ambassadors comprised of the most highly respected representatives in the America Makes community. He currently sits on the American Makes Governance Board and serves on two working groups; the Value Chain Working group and the Maintenance and Sustainment Working group. Brett’s responsibilities as the Technical Manager for metallic materials at the KCNSC is to lead a team of metal product engineers to support production operations, purchased products, technology identification, maturation and development. His daily work includes advancing metal additive manufacturing and implementing it into operations as well as working with traditional metal process techniques.
