Hundreds of veterans have applied their skills and military experience to launch civilian careers at the Kansas City National Campus (KCNSC) managed by Honeywell FM&T. Out of our nearly 7,000 employees, approximately 900 are veterans. We will continue to work to hire more veterans into our organization because veterans tend to have an immediate connection with our mission and understand the importance of working as a team to solve challenges.
The DOD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. DOD SkillBridge connects transitioning service members with industry partners in real-world job experiences.
