Virtual Bowl for Kids' Sake a big success in Alburquerque

Honeywell employees in New Mexico came together for a fun-filled afternoon of bowling and fundraising to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico. As presenting sponsor, Honeywell supported the event with a $30,000 contribution.

In order to protect the health and safety of participants due to the coronavirus outbreak, this year’s event was not held in person rather, a virtual format was created for the first time ever. Participants competed virtually on their phones, tablets or computers in the comforts of their own homes.

“Honeywell has supported the event for approximately 25 years,” said Dean Stoor, New Mexico Site Leader. “We continue to do it because it is downright fun and it is the right thing to do.”

All funds raised from the event are utilized to ensure positive mentoring matches between adult volunteers and at-risk youth in central New Mexico are met.
