Yes, every KCNSC employee undergoes a pre-employment background check after accepting a formal offer of employment. A third-party contractor will contact your references by email or phone to ask various questions. The ability to obtain proper security clearance is a crucial tool for accomplishing our mission at the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC)
All job offers must be contingent upon satisfactory results of a drug test. The test must occur no more than ninety (90) business days before the individual's starting date. Once employed, compliance with our policy of random drug testing of employees is a requirement.
Your assigned Onboarding Specialist will initiate the relocation request with our vendor, Sirva. This will occur no sooner than 90 days from start date and after the drug test is complete. Next, a Relocation Coordinator from Sirva will arrange a time to speak with you about your relocation benefits package and answer any questions. This Coordinator will guide you through the entire process from start to finish.
