KCNSC is proud to give back to our community and support Toys for Tots with the donation of $10,000 and several boxes of toys to make sure children in our community have a wonderful holiday season. For the second year in a row KCNSC has been a corporate sponsor for Toys for Tots.
KCNSC employees donated lots of toys online, or in bins located at KSNCS buildings. These toys are then collected by a member of the Toys for Tots Marine Corps League Detachment, and put them in a central location with other donations where they can be sorted by age and gender and sent to children in need. Toys for Tots has established close working relationships with social welfare agencies, churches and other local community agencies which are well qualified to identify the needy children in the community and play important roles in the distribution of the toys.
