IAMAW Labor Negotiations

November 27, 2023

Honeywell FM&T and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) representatives opened negotiations today for a new labor contract to succeed the current one that expires March 23, 2024. The Union has tentatively scheduled a ratification vote for Sunday, Dec. 10, and the parties are committed to working around the clock as needed to reach an agreement before then. We will post periodic updates on this site to keep interested persons informed.     

November 28, 2023

Over the last two days Honeywell FM&T and IAMAW representatives held productive and respectful discussions. Parties have reached a tentative agreement to renew 16 of the current articles (these are pending until a final agreement has been reached.) We will continue negotiating to reach an agreement that is fair to employees and supports our national security mission.

November 29, 2023

Today, Honeywell FM&T and IAMAW representatives continued robust discussions regarding critical issues. The parties will meet again tomorrow.

November 30, 2023

Today, Honeywell FM&T and IAMAW representatives continued their discussions, and will meet again tomorrow.

December 1, 2023

Honeywell FM&T and IAMAW representatives broke for the weekend after making good progress. The parties will reconvene on Monday to continue negotiating on challenging issues.
